Back home.

Thank you so much to everyone involved in the recording of the CD, it was really good fun, and a thoroughly enjoyable day

.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures Suepea.

HI all
I would like to add my thanks to all involved today. It was a great day. Thanks Katyjay for the lift and Barry and katyjay again for all your hard work. It was nice to meet more new people and to see again some of the others I met at preious forum events. A great day out.

Got back to the hotel and promptly fell asleep! Just woken up and logged on
Had a fantastic day today. There's been so much hard work gone on behind the scenes and can't thank Barry and KJ enough for making it such a great event. Thanks too to the composers - there's been some lovely music to play. And sing - whoo-hoo!
Will see if I've got any pics which are different from Suepea's and will post shortly if I have.
Great to meet up with everybody again and put a few more faces to names. Look forward to meeting up again at Leicester, Mkt Harboro or Leeds

Just got back!
No, I didn't get lost or spend two hours in a lay-by, I've been to the final of the local Young Musician competition. Some amazing performances, including some stunning Gershwin in the 11-and-under brass class by a young trombonist. My recorder player didn't win her class, but she was beaten by the overall winner who was also in the Intermediate woodwind class, so that was a good excuse! She played very well.
Thanks to katyjay and Barry-clari for the organisation and music arranging respectively, and to the Light Beat for the photos. And, no, I don't know what I was saying to willobie in that pic., although I do remember a camera flash when i was waving my arms around! I'm now rather wishing I didn't have a wide screen monitor.

Adding my thanks to everyone. A Fantastic day, everyone worked really hard, both on the day and lots beforehand behind the scenes making sure it all came together and ran smoothly (which it did, incredibly so!)
And great photos Sue.
I am now exhausted with all the concentration and the long drive back, so having an early night (Oh NO there's an hour less tonight!!! Why don't we put the clocks forward on a Friday afternoon so we don't lose any weekend, I want to know!)

Hello Everyone
I've heard (at last) from Jeff, that the draft CD is ready.
All we need now is a picture for the CD label. Does anyone have a nice shot of the whole recording group they could e-mail me, please?
Once the draft's been reviewed, Jeff will be producing the final discs. Hopefully this will mean I can bring copies to Leeds to pass on to participants, as well as some to sell. I'll put any other participants' copies in the post as soon as I have them.
Cheers

Folks, I have the draft disc, and I have to say I'm very pleased at the way our work has come out.
Jeff has asked me for a couple of pieces of informaton, in addition to the artwork for the label.
The first is what the group are going to call ourselves.
The second is a title for the disc.
Suggestions to me please, by E-mail not PM, ASAP.
Cheers
