I've just been driving on the A5 between Atherstone and Nuneaton. There was a really deep vivid Rainbow to the North. There seemed to be a secondary rainbow beyond it too. Has anyone else seen one today?

No, just rather too much water for my liking..... Especially as it invariably lands right in my eye..............

Nope - as it's been a really nice day up here - no rain in sight so I've been painting the soffit (if that's how you spell it!!!!) boards on the ground floor extension......and harvesting some of the apples off our tree - unfortunately I can't reach lot of them as the tree has grown a bit too much and really needs a drastic pruning this autumn.... sad.gif

Sounds like a good excuse to climb it!

No - and I'm only a few miles from you! When was this?

A lot of heavy showers here today. Did see one fairly good rainbow. smile.gif

There was a really good 'double' one in Keighley , West Yorks yesterday afternoon. Even a hint of a third.
One of the best I have seen.
It was belting down at the time but there was some clear bright sky over Ilkley Moor to the south west.

Never seen a triple, wow!

They're supposed to be circular when seen from above... anyone seen that? I'd love to.

My grandma lives near Keighley, I used to go on an almost weekly basis. And yes, I have been to Ilkley Moor biggrin.gif.

Ilkley Moor is well cool! Is that the one with the rocks that are supposed to be something like a big sheep and a small sheep?? (Long time ago...)
