Is it just me, or is the system refusing to allow photos to be uploaded from your computers too?

It just let me upload mine

If you've tried it multiple times and it doesn't work, try on www.imageshack.com and then paste the url into the uploady thing on forums.

The one I wanted to use is one I made myself...............

If you've made it yourself, upload it to
http://www.imageshack.us/ which then gives you the url to directly link the image. Its basically a longwinded way of getting things to work.

Can't you upload it from a file on your computer then (if that's what you were intending to do)?

*confused* My picture has changed now, to the one I was trying to get off my cp. Would someone please clarify this for me?

That happened to me too. There seems to be a large gap between you uploading a picture and the forums posting it properly on your account...
But what counts is that it works!

It has scaled my old photo to the new ones dimensions. Thats what it did before. But it seems to be the new one when I look at it now. This is not amusing.
Edit: It should now read Linux Addict? Hopefully..............

My I suggest your "troubles" were due to your browser cache which was remembering your original photo? That is to say, you did upload successfully first time, but your browser couldn't be bothered to show you the new picture. If you are using Internet Explorer, a quick F5 (Refresh) should help. You can also have a go at tweaking your browser settings (Tools > Internet Options) to change how the browser checks for new content.

I go nowhere near IE except at school, where I have no choice. Its a wnidows free zone over here.
It was being wierd, scaling my old photo to the proportions of the new one. But its fixed now.
