Miss Ross
Well, there's a vegetable plot in the garden but we've not been here long enough to make use of it (yet!).

When did you last go to the dentist?
maggiemay

when did you last clean your teeth ?
Dulciana

Do you like Gorgonzola cheese?
hello_cello

what is on your music stand / holder

-----------------

ROFL sorry i thought the post said whats in your CD player

Other wise...

what is on your music stand / holder
Dulciana
A Disney book. biggrin.gif

When did you last polish your piano?
pianotheory
I've never polished it.

Whats your least favourite number?
Miss Ross
7. Not only the number itself but multiples of 7, numbers which make 7, like 25 and 34, anything with a number 7 in it. I really don't like it! ph34r.gif

Do you have a lucky number?
DaisyChain
Well, 16 and 27 have been "regular" numbers for me if that makes sense. I've lived at both 16 and 27 addresses, and friends, family or students have too.. (And they are connected with no.7..sorry Floss!)

How are you feeling today?
Miss Ross
Despite having a mountain of things to do and not knowing where to start, absolutely fine!

Did you have a good day yesterday?

*27's not so bad - A couple of years ago I was on the verge of a panic attack when I found my seat for an exam was number 16 though. wacko.gif*
DaisyChain
I had a very good day, thank you. smile.gif

What is it about the No.7 that worries you? mellow.gif
Miss Ross
It's kind of a long story - A couple of years ago (when I was 14 I think...)I realised that anything unpleasant that had happened to me, or my family, had been connected to the number 7. (Grandfather died on the 14th, which was also their wedding anniversary, someone else died on the 7th, in 2005 everything seemed to go wrong, and countless other things, too many to list.) For about 18 months I would lie in bed each night adding up the numbers in people's birthdays, counting drawing pins, even counting notes in pieces of music. I don't know what stopped it but it slightly took over my life for a while ph34r.gif. (I had to force myself to catch the bus to school every day, as it was no. 25 blink.gif.)

Anyway, do you think I'm (even more!) odd now? laugh.gif
DaisyChain
Not really..it's all down to association, mainly isn't it? Bad things happened on 7th and it's multiples, so you were bound to react in some way. I hate the year 1983 as that was a very bad year for me. Anything I hear about that year (even good things) just reminds me of how bad it was.

Anyway, are you having a traditional Sunday roast today?

**Sorry, Floss...1+9+8+3 = 21** unsure.gif
Miss Ross
I think we're having mince and tatties actually tongue.gif.

When did you get up this morning?
DaisyChain
Well, a text woke me up at 7.10!!!! ohmy.gif mad.gif I got a cup of tea and went back to bed until 9ish.

Are you doing any music practice today?
Miss Ross
Hopefully! I finally got the music for Summertime so I need to make a start on it at some point party1.gif.

Do you like doing jig-saws? (How on earth do you spell that word?! blink.gif)
benson
perhaps a bit of playing, but not practice. i should probably be feeling guilty about this, but need a break after high-intensity practising for weeks on end.

can you do any origami?

oops.

um, can i answer miss ross's question, then?

i do not like doing jigsaws, unless they have very irregularly-shaped pieces.

can you do any origami?
DaisyChain
I used to like doing origami. I had an origami book and could make birds and frogs etc. Have forgotten how to do it now. mellow.gif

Is the weather warm where you are?
Devil_Fiddler
Fairly, it's not too bad anyway.

When was the last time you went to the cinema?
Miss Ross
January 2006 ohmy.gif

When did you last go bowling?
Devil_Fiddler
July, I think. Don't particularly enjoy it though.

Can you ice skate?
Miss Ross
I can indeed, although I'm a bit out of practice at the moment!

Are you good at memorising telephone numbers?
miss_tickle_thea
Not bad, relatively speaking!

Can you touch-type?
Dulciana
No! I'm too nifty now with my two fingers to want to start trying to learn to do it properly.

Are your feet both exactly the same size/shape, or do you have trouble buying shoes where both feet fit properly. ?
benson
um, no wish to offend (you like babies, i think?), but not really. well, actually, i have only met about two, so i can't judge very well.

I'll answer yours because I forgot to ask a question with my reply!

I would hate to be Superman.

Are you more imaginative or logical?
DaisyChain
A bit of both really... mellow.gif I like writing poetry and fictional things, but I'm logical in my work, studies, teaching etc.

Is there much outside noise where you are?
littlelady87
Nah, except when the workmen get their drills out...
(I like writing tooooo)

Elephants or giraffes?
fsharpminor
Oh I think Giraffes are rather more graceful !

Have you ever touched a snake ?
DaisyChain
Yes, I have had one of those big things (python?) wrapped round my neck at a zoo! ph34r.gif unsure.gif

If you got invited out by friends on the evening of your lesson, would you go and re-arrange your lesson, or have the lesson instead of going out?
