I am thinking of doing the EPTA Pedagogy course but was wondering if anyone could tell me how much time the assignments take. I did the CT course in 2001 + thoroughly enjoyed it but I now feel I need to do something else to restimulate my teaching. However I currently have around 35 pupils/week + I remember the CT coursework took up a lot of time (I had 7 pupils when I started) so I am worried I may not be able to put in the time required. I'm also a mother/housewife/cook/washerwoman etc!

I did the CT course several years ago too. I don't know anything about the EPTA course, but have considered the MTPP. Have you thought about that?

You're right about needing to be stimulated once in a while!

Hmm I see a pattern here - I started out with 7 pupils when I began the CTABRSM course, and now have 35. Conclusion - do the CTABRSM course and increase your pupil numbers by 500%!!!

Haven't done it would but like to. Problem is, it starts at 10 -ish on a Sunday a.m and I can't get there before 12 at the earliest!
It looks promising but whether it has anything to teach a CT holder I don't know. Personally, I'm finding it difficult to find a course that I can do; they are either too far away for me or they need you to have X number of pupils already.
