Its just interesting, i dont know but im asking now. Is there ever a time that you get all your grades and diplomas, and you get so good that you just cant get any better technically? I know that a musician will never stop learning mentally, but what about physically?

nop... i feel that there's not really any way you get so good until you cannot get better technically... there's definately things that you still have to learn... nothing is perfect smile.gif

I might be wrong, but I took the first post as referring to individuals - as in, is there a peak that an individual will reach after which he will cease to improve? I agree that nothing can ever be perfect, but I do think individuals will have their limits. This could be for physical reasons (dexterity, and so on) or because they simply don't have the time to practise enough to move up to the next level. Once one is tackling extremely difficult music, the confidence factor, and blind self-belief comes into play as well.

it's quite hard to say too... i too think that every individual have their limits, but no one will really know where their limits actually land... but what matters is whether they have the spirit to learn...
