My teacher played a really amazing tango the other day which i'm going to be doing soon, but I forgot to ask which one it was, and i'm not seeing him for 3 weeks now.
I've heard it before, probably on a TV ad or something, its very very famous and sounds technically hard. I know this is a longshot, but can anyone name me some famous tangos to listen too? I'm desperatly trying to find it tongue.gif
Thanks
Dulciana
What grade are you at? if you're going to be doing it soon, it would narrow the options down if we knew what sort of level you're at!

It might be Astor Piazzola. Try "Libertango" that's quite famous.

I've done piano grade 5, but haven't done grades in along time. I'd say its of a high 7/8 standard though.
I know im really breif about everything, but just wanted to get some famous tangoes to see if it came up smile.gif

And nope jane, it isnt libertango sad.gif
*sigh* its so frustrating, it's the kind of tango you will all recognise tongue.gif I hear it all the time!

oh forgot to mention, I asked my friend at school who knew it, and worked it out on the piano to be:
E ^E C A.. E F E Eb E

^ standing for up an octave. Haha, that will probably make no sense, but the last 5 notes might click.
