C# minor Prelude is one of my favourite pieces (which i have rather a lot...)! I would say the technical standard would be Grade 8 plus, but you need a good ear for variety in tone quality and keen sense of occasion... rolleyes.gif

I'm not sure, but I think it was on the Grade 7 Trinity syllabus at some point... unsure.gif

Edit : It's on the current grade 8 syllabus. smile.gif

You can view it here: http://www.trinitycollege.co.uk/resource/?id=594

If you have small hands, make sure your fingers are strong. I can't play it too well but I imagine you would need to be pretty agile as well if you're going to play it up to speed.

I played this piece on Suffolk radio years ago laugh.gif

Learning the notes wasn't too bad but the interpretation is very difficult to get right and I never thought I did it justice, i'm much more of a Mozart player smile.gif

Yes, I do agree. The Agitato section usually takes much time to do it justice.
