Anyone in my local area might be interested in the series of concerts at the Matlock Music Society.

This Friday (3rd November) I can thoroughly recommend going to hear the pianist Evgenia Startseva, who I have had the pleasure of hearing play before. She is wonderfully sensitive player and the mainly Russian programme including Shostakovich and Prokofiev certainly attracts me.
