Though this is an old post - somebody may pick this up. I would like to explore accompanying work in schools - not as a 30+ hour job, but as an add-on to my private teaching (which I started in Feb). The local primary school replied that they used the partnership and the secondary school didn't reply (or assumed that the primary school reply included their response). I was not totally surprised and understand some of the reasons given (crb check and guaranteed standard). On googling the Derby Music Partnership this thread came up.
What can anyone tell me ? It seems a bit ominous.
