Will the pink elephant be jealous of Ianto's new scarf?? Also, if the dragon sneezes, will he singe his scarf. Just wondering like tongue.gif
Beverley.
petrat
Well, the pink elephant was but a mere figment of my imagination, and was added for amusement. Ianto has no cause for jealousy. If he sneezes he will not harm his scarf so keep knitting and don't panic. He has superb breath control and only breathes fire at will, not by mistake when he sneezes or burps.

Phwew, I'm glad you cleared that point up Petra.
For a moment there I thought we were all losing touch with reality .... laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Good job Ianto's not just a figment of your imagination though - otherwise all our efforts knitting him a scarf would be totally wasted laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I shall attempt to retrieve it! Does anyone have any warnings? If so what did you do, and how many points on your license did you get?

Mmmm- I have a clarinet which I started "playing" about six weeks ago. I'm playing a tune that sounds like Twinkle, but it's highly possible it could be something completely different. My poor tutor will let me know one way or the other when I see her on Saturday. blink.gif

So whilst we're waiting for someone to come up with a sensible post which is "on topic", I'll return to insanity with this little story: tongue.gif tongue.gif

So I was asking my sister for advice on making tassels for Ianto's scarf (as you do ph34r.gif laugh.gif ), and she told me that she'd read in the paper about the latest directive which the Food Standards Agency had come up with. Apparently a farmer in Wales had started selling sausages, and as a marketing ploy, had called them Welsh Dragon sausages. The Food Standards Agency apparently objected to the name, in case anybody thought that the sausages actually contained - wait for it - yep, dragon meat laugh.gif No really, you couldn't make it up laugh.gif laugh.gif

I wonder what they think Black Forest Gateau is made of - or better still, Angel Cake????

[Sorry about this story Petra, I recounted it here rather than on Ianto's thread as I didn't want to frighten him... tongue.gif ]

[And I didn't think you'd mind the digression, CA rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif ]

Butchers Sausages.... Are they only for Canibles(SP)?
petrat
Everyone knows that Welsh Dragon sausages are so called because they are what Ianto and all of his friends prefer to have for breakfast! How about cottage pie, butterfly cakes, cocktails and that wonderful Scottish dish called clapshot?
barry-clari
...so when old cottages are pulled down, do they use the debris to make cottage pie?......
