Doesnt ignorance annoy you??
I have emailed someone today more than once and I know they are online and I am still waiting for a reply.
Also when out shopping and people dont watch where they are going and wont move it is always you that has to move. Have you ever noticed that??
School corridors as well, I am forever getting pushed around when trying to get to my next lesson.
Anyone else think the same??

It is annoying. School corridors, whoever invented them the put doorways, stairways and students in them should be shot. They are a recipe for disaster. People reckon it is funny to shove everyone through doors, or to block stairways and have thier friends try to shove them down.

I suppose if there was a free disused classroom anywhere you could knock into them and create space

I get knocked about the corridors because I'm small.

The most annoying thing is when I'm trying to go one way, but I get swept the opposite way by the hordes of oversized teenage boys who don't know their own strength.

A little Year 9 boy barged into me today in the corridor. I mean fair enough if they walk into you on the way to their lockers (which stupidly line the corridor through the main hall, and make it impossible for you to walk down there without having lots of little boys run across in front of you) but he walked slap-bang into me with quite a lot of force! Doesn't being a 6th former command some respect? And why do Year 7's and 8's have to run everywhere?? Oooh, let's rush, it's a Physics lesson next...

(No offence at all to Physics/Science-y people lol).
Hehe I feel old now.

It is terrible straight after break, as the older ones decide they want to get somewhere first. They find it fun to push everyone forwards so they can get through. What is the point they would probably get there quicker without pushing.

It's just one of those things though isn't it? You have to have a corridor in a school, and people are always going to mess around. It's true of my town - when my (old) school's main block was built, 1962, the town was a lot smaller.
Over time, people have moved into town, thus increasing the number of students attending schools.
But I don't think you can blame this sort of stuff on ignorance - I get crabby in the corridors when I've had a bad day - other days I can deal with it and shake it off.

Lol I can't complain really, the school I'm at 6th form in is MUCH better for orderly behaviour in the corridors than my old one ever was.
And I don't think it's ignorance really, because no matter how you design your school corridors, someone is going to get in the way of someone else at some point. I was just letting off steam

It's true, yes, and it's not all down to the kids. Teachers should let kids enter the lessons as soon as possible, to stop them hanging around in the corridors, causing congestion. It's dangerous out there for some.

I think the problem is that with 1800 kids and 200 teachers ALL moving at once to get to lessons that begin as soon as the last one finishes..... And the idiots who shove, push and block stairways.... I think its dangerous out there for everyone! I've whacked people with my clarinet on more than one occasion, simply beacuse everyone was so tightly packed I could not avoid it.

I don't think it's ignorance, everyone's in the same boat and everyone is getting pushed around. It's just that some people shrug it off and some get annoyed by it. There is no point getting so worked up about something that is going to happen anyway.

I don't mind the stuff that is clearly unavoidable, like hundreds of little people getting under your feet, its things like standing on a stairway, hanging onto the banisters while other people try to shove them up (or down

) the stairs causing complete chaos.

One of my friends got a black eye from a bundle in a school corridor. She's my age (14) but really short and her eyes are about Year 11 elbow height. One of my friends in year 7 has now employed me to protect her in the corridors as she's on the way to her tutor (next to mine)

If it was really imporatant then the person would have replied straight after reading it. Of course, it's much better to phone them or something if it's urgent. Keep on sending e-mails they soon will get the point.

I'm not sure... The idiots don't seem to be doing it any more, but then I havn't seen any of them go remotely near a lesson recently anyway. But they are still in school, I see them wandering around occasionally. I don't know if it was just my year or other years, but my year at least seem to have grown up. The corridors are still not the safest place to be though.

Kids always seem to be expected to help out adults. If me and a load of mates are in town, or just me, it feels like we are expected to hold doors and stuff like that. I know it's manners, but when people dont say thank you and stuff like that, I just think - why do I bother?
Also if I am in town with a load of mates.......say about 10 of us altogehter, we always get regarded as a ton of complete rebels......you know littering......swearing and all that. People dont seem to think there are any nice teenagers left!!
So annoying!!!!!

That's something that I thought was really nice that was said on the last night of the Achools Proms last year. Can't remember who it was, but they were saying that all of us there were the kids that should be getting press attention, not the teenagers doing bad things. One brass band there won an international brass band competition against professional adult bands. THere was absolutely nothing in the paper about this but you always hear about how bad teenagers these days are.

I hate our school for trying to get round corridors. They're ridiculously narrow in the first place, and you just get stuff behind the "traffic" with people just pushing in front of you and things. It takes 5 minutes to go 200m round the school.
