Straight, and also not too fast. Joplin was quite specific how Ragtime should be performed.

Straight, although when people think of ragtimes as early influence of jazz, it's never played like jazz.

I would love to try playing it swing though....

I can't imagine swung ragtime.... I don't think I could do it, however much I tried!

Yes. Some pianists play it really fast , I don't prefer it this way.
