I need to get a leather bow grip (thumb grip) .... but don't know where to get one for my bow????
The leather bow grip i am on about, is the place where you put your index finger on the bow...(the leather grip is usually next to the silver coil)
Please can you help?
Preferably an online shop........

I don't know about actually buying a seperate leather piece to put on your bow, but my bow already has one on.
It's a Paesold nickel and ebony mounted which I bought from Paul Ayres in Didsbury (near Manchester). You can go online to the shop but no pictures. They do mail order too. Give them a call and see if they can help.

If you can find a supplier of luthier materials that would be your best bet, but for renewing the leather thumb pad, it's not really a DIY job. Better to take the bow to a luthier and have it replaced properly - where they will use the correct glue and finishing techniques, rather than a tube of Evostick .....or worse!
