i just wondering how many hours do you have piano lesson a day??

i have one hour a day..
is it enough??
my technique is really poor
my left hand is so bad

I do roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Its a lot. I know.

I dont think techniques can be improved purely by doing heaps of practise. It needs to be effectve practise. Work with your teacher and pinpoint what needs improvement and work on it- not for a certain amount of time, but until you feel satisfied with the progress you have made everyday.

I have a lesson for one hour every two weeks and I try to practise for one hour a day.

I don't have lessons any more, I passed g8 some years ago. I do, however, play the piano every morning before I go to work (about 20 minutes) and then every evening for about 3-4 hours, sometimes more at the w/e's. I think it is important to play as many different types of music as you can, and really practise the parts of your technique that are weak, for example your weak left hand, sight reading, etc.

I do try to play all the major and minor scales even though I find this terribly boring, but I think they are important. Lastly I would just say that, in my opinion, quality of practise is better than quantity.

I practice about 30~40 mins a day and have 30min lesson on wednesdays

I have an hour lesson once a week and I practice about 2-3 hours a day

Anyway, A lesson every week and 1.5~2 hours of practice a day . They certainly increase before concerts .

God you're all making me feel really bad!!!!! i'm doing g7 violin and i only do at most 1/2 an hour practise and i have a 3/4 hour lesson once a week and same for my g5 piano!!!!!! hats off to all oyu super dedicated people!!!

I have 45 min piano lesson once a week, 40min violin lesson once a week, and 45-50min organ lesson once a week.
Try to do at least an hour a day on the organ- when I practise the piano it's for 45mins to an hour a day.

I have 45 - 1 hour of piano a week (extra half hour when near exams or competitions). Half an hour a week of violin lessons. And about half an hour every few weeks for flute. I practice piano at least an hour a day (sad to say my violin and flute have been negleted recently, I know i'm very naughty-in fact I'll make sure I practice lots today. When near exams I practice an hour of scales!!)

I have a 45-minute piano lesson once a week...

So roughly six-and-a-half minutes a day, I think!

Piano I have a 40 minutes lesson. Trombone and Sax a 20 minute lesson and I have a 1 hour flute lesson

I do about 3 hours of piano a week, 2 hours of sax, 1 hour of flute and trombone gets what I have time for Although I have done 5 hours of piano today lol
