I'm a piano teacher in England desperately trying to find funding for the ABRSM CT. Can anybody reccomend any trust funds etc.?

Sorry but I work for a music service and still had to pay for my own course!!
Good luck with your search for sponsorship. wink.gif

I had intended to enrole on the CT ABRSM this year but blew the money on more musical instruments (Doh!). So i'm putting a few pounds away into my savings account for the 2005 course. I looked into funding but like Higher Ed, its a self funded thing, bank/student loans or just save the cash IMHO.

Tasha,
essex music service has been sponsoring several of its teachers to do the CT course - music services have the option to contribute to professional development but often plead poverty.......
You could have a look in the directory of grant making trusts and see if any local charities might be able to help
