Cheers biggrin.gif Dad took most of them!

Would it be worth creating a Flickr account where you can apparently have group pools, so people can upload all their photos into one folder/or have one Photobucket account?
(this was Andy's idea), or maybe even a general forum concert photo accounty thing.
Cyrilla
Brilliant pics, Nicki!

Well, we got home today. No, it didn't take quite that long to get out of Leicester - as some of you know, we stayed on and enjoyed the Leicester Experience for another day. We enjoyed seeing the surrounding area (once we had managed to get out of Leicester) and the Elgar concert at the de Montfort Hall on Wednesday evening (another scenic tour, this time of the central area, plus learning how to operate the parking machines in this part of the world), where we met up with Nicki and her dad again.

We enjoyed the concert day - it was lovely to see old friends and meet new ones and the organisation of the concert and the meal ran smoothly thanks to Nicki and Katyjay. The hall was superb. The brownies were very tasty, Nicki. Thank you to all who made the generous comments in my feedback envelope.

Thanks to those who have posted photos - a very good selection.

I'm off to Benslow tomorrow for a Classical Period Piano course, so have repacked my bag today! Haven't done much piano practice over the last few days ... sad.gif

The concert was fantastic biggrin.gif One of my favourites I think!

How are the parking machines strange? Is it the whole putting in numberplate thingy?

Glad you enjoyed your day and the brownies. I thought your cello playing had improved so much smile.gif

Yes, it was the numberplate thingy .... we had not met this before. We went to Oakham earlier in the day and I thought the machines were out of order because every time I put any type of coin in it fell through. I was just about to write a notice for the car windscreen when someone came up and got a ticket and told us you had to key in your car registration (numbers only in Oakham), so at least I wasn't caught completely off my guard when the Leicester one wanted full registration number. We don't have anything like this round our way!

Oakham is a nice place. As were the other Rutland places you went to. *has memories of cycling round Rutland Water - 23 miles*
They didn't used to have lots of those but they do now...

I can't use Picasa because it only works with Windows and I'm mac. I've loaded similar sized images on to photobucket in the past and it's worked OK, but it's not working this time sad.gif
