Not so many Einaudi fans on here these days.....
....but a new tour just announced. I've booked tickets for Edinburgh (4th march) already!

Wonderful!
His music is so beautiful. Obviously, it will come to London?

Yes - the Barbican! This tour is associated with his new Album, Devinire, which is apparently mainly ensemble pieces - piano and string quartet.
I'm listening to Una Matina at this moment. I've played Le Onde and Passagio at forum concerts before now. Would really like to learn I Giorni.

Well I saw him in Edinburgh last night.
A good concert, piano. 2 violins, 2 violas, cello, double bass and some sort of electronic stuff.
Played through Devinire stuff and then did a few of the older numbers.
For me the electronic stuff didn't really add a lot. Best bits were definately him playing solo or with strings. Finished of with an amazing rendition of I Ghiorni which was the highlight of the concert for me. Also played an arrangement of Le Onde with strings.

I went to see Mr E in Bristol. Very impressive! I'm also not sure about the electronic effects. It was a very relaxed concert too, Einaudi himself was wearing jeans. How cool.
Bought a CD of Divenire in the interval and got it signed afterwards.
