There are loads of Tutor books for Alto with CD but I can't find any for Soprano. A young girl wants to start on Soprano as it's lighter, but does anyone have any idea about a tutor book with cd ? Clarinet books are too low in notes......the only thing I can do is use my PC to change the pitch of the cd....not ideal !

Thanks

Hey David. You are right there are not many for the Bb saxes. I couldn't find any for soporano but there are quite a few for tenor sax. She could still use these but she would just be playing an octave higher than the CD, which isn't really a problem.

Tenor Sax

Have a look at that link which contains several books over a few pages, quite a few of them contain a CD too so they could be just what you are looking for.

Be careful about starting someone on sop.
Nocturne
In the dutch version of the "look listen learn" series there are method books especially for soprano saxophone. I don't know if they have an english version too, but it might be worth to ask around.
