No, I'm here too! I was exhausted so I left my flatmate's room where everyone was gathered having a chat, and was so tired I sort of dragged my feet hanging around outside the door getting my bearings... of course the moment the door closed I became new subject of conversation, and now I'm too annoyed/upset to sleep...

I didn't even hear it all properly, I just heard my name, and a burst of laughter... Then they said something about a picture of me on facebook, and laughed again, and by that point I decided it was best to just leave. They aren't my best friends in the flat or anything, and they tend to take most people to pieces the second they leave - but knowing they probably laugh at you behind your back isn't the same as actually hearing it...

Aw, Lucy... *hugs* That's horrible. I had a similar experience, only in our flat the walls were really thin so I was sitting in my room listening to them talk about me in the next room. I hope you managed to sleep in the end.

Thanks Miss R. It's not half as bad as what you had to sit through! I'd've been tempted to bang on the wall and shout "I can hear you!". How unpleasant. It does seem a little better in the morning though...

Me again! Now I can't sleep because my toe hurts - even though I'm so tired!
Anyone else around?

Did you get to sleep in the end?

I would have been here but am trying the 'lie in bed in the dark with no distractions' technique at the moment.

Dec 16 2008, 04:57 PM
Well, I didn't but I didn't have to stay awake bored too long - chatted with a flatmate over facebook til half fiveish, and had a nine fifteen lecture, so wasn't too bad. Did you not get any sleep yourself?
Miss Ross

I see. That's not tooo bad then! No, I did sleep on this occasion.

Beautiful picture. You probably can't look anything less than very beautiful whatever you do. They are probably jealous (especially as you can sing too, and are obviously no dimwit either) and desperately trying to find something to criticize so they can feel superior.
Nothing to fret about!

I'm finally joining the insomniacs

I have a bad chest infection and am finding it soo hard to breathe let alone sleep.
Thing is, if it wasn't for that i'd be fast asleep - i'm SO exhausted! Only got about 2 hours sleep last night. 5 hours so far tonight... surely this isn't doing good for getting me better

But how can i sleep when i can't breathe

dfjghdfgkfgf
I really wanted to go to school tomorrow too (i've missed 3 days already) but if i don't get any sleep then i wont be able to

Also wanted to go to gymnastics tomorrow as it's the last training session till after xmas... but i so don't think that's a good idea

*sigh* Aslong as i'm better for my violin lesson on thursday

Moan over

Things are great thanks. Not looking forward to three months away from uni, but otherwise all is good.

Where is your mind, if not on prom? If that's not too personal a question...

Jun 28 2009, 03:55 AM
Nah. Have to go shopping with my mum for my dad's birthday present. Then I'm going back to York for a week before holidays start. Will probably go to the pub quiz in one of the bars tonight.
What about you?
ben_walker446
Jun 28 2009, 03:58 AM
Well if I fall asleep before 8 then I am gonna go the gym when i wake up..if i'm still awake by 8 then i'll go the gym then...have work at 6-10.30 , other than that i'm not too sure lol exciting life I have!
lucky045
Jun 28 2009, 04:00 AM
To be fair, I've given up on sleep tonight, which probably means that I'll get back to uni, and fall fast asleep, not waking up til... bedtime. Messing up my body clock even more and making it so that I don't really get to hang around with my friends or do anything exciting.

I keep making half-hearted attempts to fix it. For like, three days in a row, I'll go to bed at around eleven, and lie awake for hours, setting my alarm for some terrible early morning time. Then just as it's starting to work, I'll go out and not get back til four or whatever, and have to start from the beginning.

I'm having the same sort of issue where going to bed early doesn't guarantee any more sleep

I usually drop off about 1-2am, then wake up a few times in the night... Grrr..

*sigh*
For weeks I've falling asleep at the drop of a hat, but now I've switched back to this hyper-energetic, sleep-defying zombie.

Should hopefully change again in a couple of a days.
In other news, mwl1 is snoring very quietly. It's quite amusing.
