Gosh! Here I am again!
I suggested to Fran*Piano, a couple of hours ago, a whole list of books that might induce drowsiness, but since they were all of my own choosing, interesting me sufficiently for me to buy them in the first place, I can't turn to any of them myself for that purpose.
My plans to go into school and practise for several hours have been scuppered. OK, I
could still go in, but surely effective practice would be at a minimum, in view of the tiredness that is bound to catch up with me mid-session. I shall stay at home and practise later, making best use of the hour and a half that I would otherwise have spent walking there and back (I almost wrote 'to and fro' but that produced an image of me pacing backwards and forwards, getting nowhere!).
In the words of #### Dastardly, "Drat, drat and double drat!"

EDIT: How annoying is that?!

Who ever heard of
Richard Dastardly?

I've just realised that it was Christmas Carols wot done it - kept me awake. For some reason my mind sang through the three carols that I would like to be performed at this year's Carol Concert. Aaarghh! Not the right time, nor the right place! ....... Surely there are some shepherds hanging about with sheep that I can count?!
