I had a disussion earlier with my Dad about football. Everyone in the house except me likes football, I dont see the point if you get what I mean.
It is a bag of air and people being sold for as much money as they can get for them.
Anyone else?

I'm sorry to do this but the above it so annoying! It should say "I am not" instead of "I arent" which if you put the apostrophe in would mean unabreviated "I are not" which when you put into context makes no sense "Yipee I are not alone"

I wouldn't say I hate it - I nothing it lol.
If it's an important match and England are playing, you might just about convince me to watch. But for it's own sake, rather than national pride... I find it deadly boring

I don't enjoy it, generally. My Dad will quite happily sit and watch a game of football totally disconnected to the team he supports (for example the other day, he was watching Tamworth v. Norwich). I've tried to like it, but...nah.

We were FORCED to watch a football match a few years ago... I found it deadly boring and annoying as I was sitting cross legged on a floor when I would have much rather been outside running around as I was until I was dragged in to watch football. It wasn't like I was damaging anything, or stopping anyone else watching it.

I find football terribly boring to watch, and equally unpleasant to play. The purpose of chasing a leather sack of air around a field completely eludes me....

I quite enjoy having a kick around with my mates sometimes, but going outside onto a cold windswept field patch of mud in the middle of winter in shorts with people from my school really holds no joy for me.
As for watching it, that's possibly even worse.

It's not really football I hate, though I can't stand whatching it, it's the culture that comes with it in this country. The violence, drinking, and general crass behavour of - not all - but some...ok, a lot of the supporters. Another thing I can't stand, is the publics adoration of overpaid footballer's such as David Beckhem - and the WAGS, I hate the WAGS!! Oh, don't get me started on football...

I dont see the point of injuries from kicking a bag of air round a field. Also the players being sold -- they are people being sold for ridiculous amounts of money... anyone?
