Hi Annetta
A few years ago I sat my LTCL in piano and LLCM in organ within four days of each other. I'll not be doing that again.

Are you nervous Annetta??????????
I have only entered for 2 one the same day (Violin and Piano).
Even that was nerve wracking!!!!!!!
I wish you lots and lots of luck.

I only do exams on one instrument, and I like to know I've passed theory before I enter for a practical grade that requires it

I entered for grade 5 theory and grade 5 practical in one term, but with different exam boards. In the end I took my theory about a month before I did my practical. But I only have one instrument to worry about, so I don't have to think about possibly having two exams on the same day!

VIII Singing and Theory this term. Nothing else. That looks like nothing compared to others!

I think I'd only ever want to do no more than two exams in any one session - some combination of practical clarinet, jazz clarinet and theory. Oh and maybe the Grade 1 Challenge in Singing!

I did 2 exams in November (Grade 3 theory; Grade 1 jazz piano).

Last Spring I did grade 4 recorder and grade 1 violin within two weeks. This summer I will probably do grade 3 violin and grade 5 theory.

I am hoping that none of them are on the same day...wherever the exam centre is this time...I am going to be a regular face lol!!!
I am actually nervous yes as I have a lot of preparation to do and I am in the process of participating in a concert at the beginning of next month and organising another one so I have just a bit to do
Thanks
Annetta xx

This time last year I did my LTCL singing and my Grade 1 violin (do I get a prize for the biggest difference in difficulty level between the exams?)
Then in the Summer I did Grade 5 piano, Grade 5 recorder and Grade 6 theory.
So, 5 exams in 2 terms.
Then I had a term off.
Then this term I'm doing Grade 5 practical musicianship and Grade 7 recorder.

I did my g6 carinet and g7 piano last summer a day apart. It nearly killed me! (but I was really ill with a virus at the time so I suppose thats why....)
but anyway- NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO 2 EXAMS!

Years ago I took grade 8 piano, treble recorder and theory all in the same term whilst studying for my GCSE's, glad I got them out of the way all in one go though

I only normally do 1 at a time, but this time I'm doing grade 5 flute and theory so that I can push on with the higher flute grades without stressing over theory.

In April I'm doing two Grade 6 exams- one piano, one clarinet. ARGH! And I can't believe my clarinet teacher made me do one one my birthday!

She says it's my birthday present...

I once had grade 8 trumpet and grade 6 piano conveniently timed to be at the same time as my GCSE's!

I remember that! Fun...
I've only ever done one at once.

I've only ever done one exam at a time. This year I'm proably doing grade 8 violin in the summer adn grade 8 violin in the autumn, so I can get them out the way before I have most of my GCSE exams. THat's going to be hard enough, but the thought of doing two exams in one session

Think it would kill me!!

Due to the complexities involved with playing two instruments simultaneously, I tend to go for the more traditional "one-at-a-time" approach...!

My school teacher would be VERY annoyed if that happend to me. I'll ask my music teacher to change the exam time if that happens.

Grade 5 Piano
Grade 2 Violin
Grade 6 Theory (yeah right!)

The most I've ever done is two in one session.
This session is just theory.
I can't imagine doing more than two in one go, it must be so difficult to find time to practise.

One time i did grade 4 pratical and Grade 5 thoery on the same day with a few hours apart. I'm just so thankfull they were like 10 minutes walking distance between the too. but Ohmygod! Major stress but that was like 4 years ago.
otherwise it's always been once.

I remember some time ago someone saying that they had grade2 piano and grade3 piano on the same day with the same examiner- and the examiner wasn't very impressed
