Are Selmer Signet 100's any good? Are they intermediate clarinets?
Would any one recommend them?

The clarinet I'm thinking of buying is a Selmer Signet Resonite clarinet. Does anyone have one or could anyone tell me about it. I have never played a clarinet before so I don't know. Sorry for posting twice but I just remebered what the make was. Also, how much would one be new?

Selmers are quite good. Not the best, but not the worst. I am currently using a Selmer bass clarinet and it is good, but I would much prefer a buffet or a yamaha, they are so much better.

All I can suggest really is go along to a good clarinet or woodwind supplier and try out several clarinets in your price range and decide which one you like the best.

I quite like Selmer's, my teacher is the famous legend Thea King and she uses Selmer Recital's, she tried to get me to use them but i use Peter Eatons, also the LeBlanc rnage is very beautiful, especially the Esprit, Concerto and The Opus*
its so rock n roll

I think selmer clarinets are dodgy.

Selmer bass clarinets are quite good though...not that you needed to know that
