I know this is probably in the wrong place but i didn't know where to put it.

Anyway, on sibelius, when you put in a trill should it play the trill for you? I've put one in my composition but it's just playing it as though it's a normal crotchet . Am I supposed to do something else to make it play the trill?

It isn't easy to do this sort of thing in Sibelius - you must make sure that the object is attached to something.

The easiest way to do this, I find, is to click on the note which you want to trill, and then press 'L'. Look around and you'll find the Trill Line, amongst other lines - select this, and Bob's your dad's brother.
