I used to post here often but this is my first visit in aaages. So hello again to anyone who remembers me, hello fellow adult learners, and hello for the first time to everyone else. Sorry for the long absence, real life has a habit of interfering!

The forum looks quite different now, I'm sure we didn't used to have a Theory and Composition section - looks great. I'm taking grade 7 piano this spring, so will probably be on here a lot in the next few weeks begging for advice.

I've often wondered if I'd bump into you whilst shopping one day, but haven't yet. (For the newer members, Fred and I met at the first Adult Learners' concert and realised we lived a few minutes walk apart.)

Skylark - I have to admit I haven't picked up my clarinet in months as I've been concentrating on the piano (guilt trip commencing now ). However, once this exam is out of the way I plan to get back into it and maybe even find a teacher like I've been planning for about 2 years! I'll have a look at the forum calender. Last time I was here the forum concerts were a fairly new innovation, thanks to the brave and super-organised Katyjay. I'm really impressed how other members have taken off with the idea all over the country. I'll have to catch up on the recordings, too!

Carol - sorry to disappoint!

Andanteinc - yes, I seem to find myself in the shopping centre every other day, and I'm always out and about in our area ferrying children to various activities; it's amazing we haven't bumped into each other! Good to "talk" to you again.

YAY! I remember you Fred as I always thought you had THE coolest interests section! I think I mentioned you in a 'where have they gone?' thread (or should that be fread? ) a few months back.
