It seems to be quite an interesting exam pity my school moved to Int. 2 before i got onto it.

If i were doing it i'd probably go for two voices then you can add in all those Q and A segments, imitation, unison that kind of thing. I'd probably use quite sparse instrumentation for it, piano and woodwind duet, but i'm biased towards woodwind generally. Looking at a form similar to A Whole New World wouldn't hurt either with two solos, then musical argument section (discord?) before they finally go onto unison.

Seems so much more interesting than the exam for Int. 2 sad.gif

would be good, difference is there are no male singers and im pretty much the only female singer in the class. and we have no woodwind, seriously, our school is full of guitarists who can only play power chords and think they're genius's. I have nothing against guitarists, i can't learn the damn thing!

Brings back memories...

You could create a Midi backing track -and sing along - although that is a bit tacky - I did that for my IA, and it worked out ok.

Jess, Have you got any "friends" outside school that could help you out with the performance? I feel for you I once had to do TP in a place where everyone was a gutarist. I cam in as a classically trained singer who plays the oboe and cor Anglais (and at that stage the Piano badly) I felt like fish out of water.

If you want to progress it unfortunately looks like your going to have to call in a mumber of favours. Let me know how it goes and PM me if you get stuck.
