A friend of mind is going to sell her altus solid silver head, probably on e bay ..... does anyone have an idea of what she should put the starting price as ? or the minimum price she should accept ??
I've just bought an Altus headjoint of ebay for £200, it's not in perfect condition, but it is .958 Brittania silver and hand cut. Do you know what the condition is? Other wise maybe the same price or a little more?

They retail new at £625. The thing with Ebay is that people expect bargains, so whilst a flute shop might sell the headjoint around £500 if in good condition, on ebay its most likely to go for around £200-300.

ok thanks, that's all worth knowing .......... it is in perfect condition, i'll tell her to anticipate 200-250 as a minimum i think, anything under 200 and she'll keep it
