My version has no pedalling directions - I have my students perform the entire piece with the right sustaining pedal - is this accurate? How often should I suggest pedalling in this? Thanks for your input smile.gif

Pedalling should start right at the beginning, eg. put it down before you start then lift the pedal at b. 2 with the Bb major chord. For the modulation just press but release when it starts to get 'murky', just spend some time working this out. This applies to most of the piece, just experiment!

Pedal with your ears!! Listen to the sounds and that should guide you as to how to pedal this piece or any other.
