what's worse I am at work and I hope they don't track what I have accessed as if they do they'll think I access x rated material at work and will possibly be in big trouble!!!
I wouldn't worry about that aspect of it, jojo. If ever it was discovered, they would also see that it was accessed from a link on the ABRSM site and would realise that your explanation was genuine.

I think the moderators have to find a way not to allow pictures to appear in posts, but those who want pictures in their post should have the post 'stopped' by moderators until it gets given permission to appear in forum! Surely they can do this as they do it in other forums?
I suspect it would have to be "all or nothing". I can't see the mods wanting to pre-view pictures of snow etc, and even if they did, the moment would have been lost by the time they got round to it. They might be willing to pre-view profile pictures but everything else would have to be thrown out with the proverbial bath water I suspect.
I don't know what the answer is. Pictures add a lot to forum life, eg pictures of forum concerts, organs (really sorry, no pun intended), "Find a Picture" game etc etc, and somebody in the "Snow Pictures" thread said what a lovely topic it was....
We've had so much spam lately in relation to what we usually get that I just wonder if something's gone amiss with the validation system, and that if that can be put right, maybe pictures would still be an innocuous contribution to the forums?
Edit: I'm not sure about the technological side of pre-viewing... I have a feeling that software exists which automatically and instantly scans pictures for undesirable content before they are loaded. Does anyone else know about this, as it would be a quick and easy way of vetting pictures without the mods having to spend time on it? Although I imagine the mods know about it already if it exists...
