Just wondered what everybody was into!!! It's so great that there is a singing board)

Baroque and Classical periods are my favourite - to sing that is. Not sure where that fitted in!

The Sixteen and the Tallis Scholars,

the Huelgas Ensemble, Trinity College Cambridge or any good UK cathedral or collegiate choir,

that sort of sound

Well, I don't sing but I like listening to modern RnB and gospel cos it's so happy and cheerful!

And I think Christina Aguilera has a really lovely voice as well.

Yeah, i love the songs from Grease- got a grease flute book that comes with a cd and i also like songs from The Sound Of Music.

I love gospel, I just love listening to it, and I love musicals.

Musicals are the best! i quite like some rock music!

I like to sing a bit of everything. RnB, pop, rap, but right now I am really into classical. I am always listening to The Messiah.

i love Faure's requiem, Hydan's te deum & a little organ mass, J.S. Bach's St.John passion....and so on....

I love singing musical songs - especially from my all time favourite musical - Les miserables!

i'd prefere the Phantom of the Opera...

I love the Messiah... "But who may abide" is my absolute favourite aria of all time. Mozart's Requiem is fab as well.

Purcell's opera "Dido and Aeneas" is also brilliant. It's got a rude nickname which I'm probably not allowed to reveal on this forum (but you can probably guess it! *sniggers*). I was in a school production of it a few years ago, and that's what inspired me to have singing lessons (I'm now grade 5).

Musicals? Brilliant also. I simply adore the duet from Miss Saigon, "I Still Believe"... anyone know it? And "My Man's Gone Now" from Porgy and Bess is heart-wrenching.

Oh, and I like classical, baroque, jazz, folk and 70's R'n'B too. (Modern pop and R'n'B don't really appeal to me, although some of the singers are surprisingly talented.) Plus I love to rock

i love "how beautiful are the feet" from Messiah and the "benedictus" from Hydan's little organ mass... i can sing both of them...hhaha...
