How do you finger a left hand, 2 octave Bb minor? I can do the right hand no problem, but I either run out of fingers or have to many left over in the left hand!

No I haven't got a scale book, coz I find it easer memorising them if I don't have it.... for some reason!! I can do pretty much all the minors of them for grade 6 except that one! Weird....
I know it's 4 octaves for grade 6, but I'm thinking that if I can do two octaves, I can just do that twice??? Unless anyone has another suggestion!
are you doing grade 6 aswell? If so, when?!

I did grade 5 at christmas, but I didn't need Bb minor, coz I did my exam with Trinity. I only had about 6 scales to learn, including major and minor!

on violin in Trinity you have the option of doing a study instead of scales, at least at grade 6 you do (don't know about other grades) ... Don't know if it's the same for piano...

Yeah I know you get a study with clarinet exams, but I don't know about piano either!!
The scales are easier, but you have to do a viva voce (worth 5 marks, so not as important as scales) and the first piece for my grade 5 was 4 pages long! I was knackered by the end of it, especially as it wasn't exactly slow!
