Hiya, I've been playing this a while but only now I have decided to use it as one of my performance pieces for college. As I wont see my techer for a while now (half term....) does anyone have any suggests or tips about how to go about this piece?? Or how to make it sound better?? Or anything at all!!!
Thanks!!!

Who's it by? Is it the one from that Caribbean Suite?

It's by Jim Parker from Jazzed Up Too.

Can't really offer any specific advice, except to be very careful with the counting and rhythms.

I remember playing this piece for a music festival and the comment made was about not playing it to serious, play it more relaxed, but not slow, to give the jazzy character. Your playing needs to be varied and really perform the piece. It's a piece to enjoy.

The final quavers and crotchet, I always use to have going through my head: "and that is that", I thought this went quite well as there are 4 notes and this phrase is four words.

Good luck and I hope this helps a little.
