I have a pupil who is about to learn the Scarlatti Sonata in C from list A of the new grade 7 Piano syllabus. My query concerns the ornaments marked tr in the right hand of bars 39 - 40. On the ABRSM recording of this piece these are not played. The ornaments in the rest of the piece are played on the recording as they are written in the score. Any ideas please?

I'm playing the same piece and I just play according to the book.
