If you've had a hard day, here's some luscious chocolates to cheer you up, together with a cup of tea (euphemism for a stiff drink rolleyes.gif ) and lots of sympathy from your forum buddies.

It's just what I need anyway after dealing with a flood in the hallway when I first got up this morning, several hours with plumbers and no central heating all day sad.gif

Thankfully all's well again now apart from some more clearing up, but I'm not going to do anything else until I've indulged myself with these yummy chocolates - and anyone who wants white chocolate has these special Mozart white chocolate liqueur chocs for music-lovers biggrin.gif

Help yourselves everyone, and if you've had a bad day as well, get it off your chest here and you'll soon feel better ... biggrin.gif

And what has this got to do with chocolate exactly? unsure.gif

Just what I needed - virtual chocolates! (having given up the real ones for lent...)
I'm in the middle of my mock AS-levels and am absolutely shattered - so far I've done 14 exams in 9 days. Only eating and showering and strong black coffee is keeping me awake...
Today was the worst day for me, but at least now it's over!

Thanks Skylark

The French lady who hit my car on 11th Feb gave a load of false details! Looks like I'm going to lose my no claims on the insurance or pay out to get it done myself. sad.gif mad.gif GGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!

**Sorry to hear about your leak skylark. Hope all is well now! xx**

That's really bad news, petal sad.gif Are the insurers not able to trace her through the DVLA by her licence number?

They are looking into it. Thing is, I need to get it done quickly because of all the rain we've had lately. The rust will start to get to it. But if I do it myself, I'll lose the claim anyway...I'm in Catch 22 at the moment. Hopefully the DVLA can trace her soon. Never mind ay?

Kind of makes up for the fact that my husband bought 4 cream eggs today, ate them all in one sitting and didn't offer me one!

I've had a really awful week (I'm prepared to go as far as to say the worst week of my life) and I foolishly gave up chocolate for lent, and I'm not a fan of tea so I'll just take the sympathy and hope that life gets better.

I'm almost feelings guilty because I've had rather a nice day! And I don't like chocolate - which for some reason people find a bit strange.
But here's wishing all you sad, unhappy souls more sunshine tomorrow - especially Skylark - I hate to hear of a feathered friend who is the opposite of a wading bird having to cope with waterfalls. Hope your fluffy feathers aren't too bedraggled.

Sorry you've had such a dreadful week - hope it gets better for you sooner rather than later wink.gif

What beautiful pink flowers on your web site link - they certainly made me feel better and we'll save some chocolates for you for when Lent is over smile.gif

I was having to *duck* the driplets and droplets this morning, but my nest is all warm and dry and cosy again now thank you smile.gif

If you don't like chocolate, can I have yours biggrin.gif And what little indulgence do you like, Goldie? rolleyes.gif

Glad you're feeling better. Certainly you can have all my chocolate allowance. My indulgence? Nuts! I could live on nuts and since most of them are healthly I do but not salted ones so my indulgence is salted cashew nuts. A once in a while treat.

Your plight reminded me of last Christmas morning. Jumped out of bed to find the boiler had packed in! No heating , no hot water - just a load of flashing lights screaming danger. We spent Christmas morning under the covers frantically trying to make sense of the boiler manual. Couldn't make head nor tale of it so in the end we asked our next door neighbour who mended it in minutes and wouldn't accept anything for his efforts. It was one of the best Christmas presents ever - a good neighbour. Ever cloud...

To all those who've had a dreadful week, I'm crossing my fingers for you that next week will be better.

I'm so busy and stressed all the time, and am on some really strong medication that makes me really shattered and I need to sleep half the evening sad.gif
