I just started piano 2 weeks ago with the fascination of ragtimes by Scott Joplin. I have learnt a simple version of the "Maple Leaf Rag" (without the octaves). And the syncopation is fantastic. I have played the violin for quite long. (about grade 7 my told me). But I am thinking now to broaden my musical experience with piano, so where could I go next?

Why not invest in at least a few lessons with a piano teacher. You can show them what you have taught yourself and they will then know where to direct/take you with your piano playing. Good luck, I love Scott Joplin too!
