I'm still trying to decide on my list C grade 8 piece, and have heard the and really like the Gershwin, I was wondering if anybody else has tried it? and what their thoughts are - my piano teacher suggested that I just select from the Anthology but I heard this and would really like to do it, finally got the music yesterday and it looks a bit scary.

Im playing it! Its the BEST piece I have EVER played. Seriously, it is.
When I got the music I was a bit, um, scared, as its got LOADS of accidentals and big chords (and I have small hands) but I thought I'd give it a go.
And I'm so glad I did! The best thing to do is to concentrate on one bit at a time, and progress through bit by bit. I found it too much to focus on the whole thing as there are so many chords and accidentals. I've been playing it since christmas and have about 7/ 8 of it fluent. I really recommend you having a go. Don't get put off by its scariness!
