My two eldest kids begged me to wake them up when it was time to see the moon change. I just went up to give them a nudge and they were in such a deep sleep all I managed to get was 'go away' out of them !! lol

At least you tried!!!! My dad didn't bother, even though I asked him VERY nicely!!

Lovely picture - I wish I could have seen it!

Same with my brother and sister - I was babysitting them and they were just like "meh, go away I'm tired!" But I forced them out and when we went to the big window I stubbed my toe 'cause it was dark. It HURT!!! lol. So I think they should be far more appreciative lol. laugh.gif

It was so PURDY- to quote tweety pie!

It was really amazing. I played at a wedding yesterday and when I left the bridal party were all outside watching it. We were watching all the way home (about 45mins journey). One of my friends said "Wow that's us making that shadow, weird, if we wave you might see us on the moon!" What a cool thing to think of laugh.gif

Bad luck. It was visible from right across Europe I think (depending on cloud cover of course). Some other parts of the world were likely to see a partial eclipse.

My ex saw it when he came out of work in the centre of Aberdeen. I didnt see it though, but I live north of Aberdeen and it was cloudy. So I missed the unmissable eclipse.

I've seen one before but it was still pretty good biggrin.gif

I took a couple of photos but yet to transfer them to the PC and find out if they are any good.

I'm so glad I've at least seen a picture. Unfortunately the eclipse happened when they were admitting me to Addenbrooke's last weekend. The nurses were pretty excited, but during the time of totality I was stuck on a trolley in the Emergency Department.

The more piccis the better!
