Hey there and welcome!
Ive just sat grade 8 flute I played A) The 3rd movement of the Mozart concerto

The 2nd movement of the York Bowen sonata and C) The 2nd and 3rd movements of the Bach Paritita! Really good pieces none are really that easy but but if your looking for sumthin that wont stretch you too much definetly go for the York Bowen!
Hope this helps

Hmm, a conpletely fifferent selection to what I am currently doing.
List a: Handle sonata- none of the pieces are too hard to pick up, but it is absurdly long, and tires out the fingers, I need to build up my stamina!
List b: the traditional 1st movement of the polenc sonata. I dont like it at the mo, so I might choose something else
List c: Danse de la Chevre, cant remeber how to spell the composers name. I like this a lot, its fun, has some really nice phases, but is a pain to play!

the polenc sonata is a beautiful piece of music nd found the 2nd movement 4 my gr7 really enjoyable however the 1st movment is harder bt im determined 2 crack it.
I always find Bach good fun to play and rhythms are never a problem with Baroque music its just the tounging.
I've also heard the mozarts spose 2 be really good
