I've been inspired to learn this peice. As I expected it is fiendishly difficult. I'm learning it bit by bit slowly, hands apart for the moment but I was wondering if anyone had any tips??

Kitty, there have been several threads before on Fantasie Impromptu, some with quite extensive discussion of tempo etc.
Suggest you click on Search facility above, search in 'Viva Piano' and input 'Fantasie Impromptu'
You will get many threads referring to this piece but two or three specifically on Fantasie 'Impromptu'
