We've just been playing something called the chicken song in our jazz group. It's weird!!! Does anyone else know it?

The only 'Chicken Song' I can think of is the Spitting Image novelty song from the '80s.....

Great jazz/funk tune - should be available on iTunes. I have it on the CD "Invitation". Listening to it on the commute home always gets me in the right frame of mind to do some pratice when I get in.

In this case, I get the feeling that TSax is right, and I'm wronger than wrong.....

Have to say, I HOPE you're wrong, Barry, cos a jazz version of THAT Chicken Song is just.... not a good thought.............

That's the one! I love it! The version that I play has a cool trombone solo though, which this one lacks.

Try singing the Spitting Image one with a good jazzy swing to it! It works really well. Blues style does too. That is perhaps my one and only contribution to the jazz forum.
