Hi I have just started AS music (not having done O level) and I'm struggling to find any sample questions. I can find information about the 'type' of stuff asked but I really would like to read through some actual past paper questions just to get a feel even though I won't know the set pieces.

Can anyone help me either by putting in any past paper questions or directing me to where I should look.

Thanks a lot

Which exam board are you on? (e.g Edexcel/OCR/AQA/WJEC) What are your set pieces?

Rhinegold publishes listening exam practice papers in the style of the exam of each board (if that makes sense) smile.gif

Hi

Here in NZ we do Cambridge International exam syllabus and my set pieces are
Haydn Trumpet Concerto
Mozart Symphony no. 40 in G min
Beethoven Symphony no 5 in C min
Schubert 4th mvt of Trout Quintet

from the first Viennese School.

I am particularly interested in the type of question they ask for prescribed works.

Incidently I had no idea that there were so many different examining boards setting O and A level exams in the UK? Is that a recent thing?

Question examples or help from anyone doing AS ( any type doesn't need to be those works) much appreciated
