Hurrah! My two favorite instruments and my favorite Scots fiddler in the whole world - it sounds beautiful for the slow air and then Alasdair really lets rip with the jig and reel (Nathalie does some really fantastic accompaniment on the celly, too! Fiddle and Dziddle...)

I listen to these two all the time! They are really great - I especially love the fast jigs and reels, at the moment my favourite being "Calliope Meets Frank". Has anyone heard it?

I love that set! A guitarist friend of mine and I play the calliope jig into the macarthur road reel as one of our favourite sets - it really gets things moving (and there isn't a great deal of trad music in E major...!)

If you click on the other videos by the same user and choose clip number two of Alasdair and Nathalie, you can see them playing that set. Fantastic (and a great deal faster than on the album... eek!)
