Tells you where this all started, but in a nutshell my 14 year old son J has a newly changed voice in the last 12 months and began lessons 6 months ago with a wonderful teacher.

This weekend he sang in his first music festival and I was very happy that the comments began with "This is a fine voice and you use it carefully', moved through "this was just the right amount of resonance and it is so natural" and 'just look a little happier' which he took notice of for the next class.

Not that it matters but he came 2nd in the under 21 recital class.....which was nice smile.gif

I'm SURE that he is getting the most excellent tuition and that it is all entirely appropriately suited to his still-developing voice. Thanks again to all who advised us so well in the past!

No, F#m is right. It appeared as about a dozen separate threads in Viva Voice (and so also in View New Posts).

Looks like someone has kindly deleted all the others.
