But Danza Española literally means 'Spanish Dance', I'm sure there are dozens - Granados probably, Albeniz etc. etc.

I dont think the original composer is known, so I suppose the answer is 'Anon'

Yellow River was original a cantata by Yin Chen Zing. It was adapted into a Piano Concerto by Xian Xing Hai.
(Ooh that was a fiendish one!)

Taverner is wrong. It was John Adams, more famous for his 'Short ride in a fast machine' and his opera 'Nixon in China'
