Just posted this clip in the jazz forum as a response to "The Chicken" thread and watching it realised that about 5 minutes in there's a steel pans jazz solo so thought you guys might be interested.
I love it! It's a really cool piece, and the solos are really good!

I agree; it's impressive! It's pretty much the same as on any tuned percussion, though!
