Hello everyone,

I'm 18, female and a pianist of appoximately 14 years. I started playing music with the Yamaha music school about 14 years ago and then decided to switch to private tuition about 3 years after. I got my grade 8 2 years ago, but since then I suspect that my ability has gone down (my technique was never that great anyway). Last year I decided to attempt a diploma when I had RSI in my right wrist (stupid thing to do I know). Even with an amazing teacher, unsuprisingly I didn't pass.

My hand is getting better and hopefully I'll be able to actually have a decent attempt at my diploma in the near future.

Hope that I'll have a nice time on these boards.
