Hi

I was wondering which pieces for grade 7 people have chosen? I am finding it hard to decide.

Not entirely sure yet, see, i only bought the book today! But, I do quite like the Giga, (A1) though i'm not sure how i'd feel about practicing it for months on end! rolleyes.gif
The Beethoven (A2) also seems quite nice - a little harder, though. Having only got it today i haven't braved sightreading the Polonaise and the only B piece i've tried is the Schumann which i already had - i quite liked it.

C pieces, I think Willie Wagglestick seems quite fun (don't really like the other two) but the name puts me off dry.gif !

I don't have a lesson until the 17th or something, though, so i've gotta hope my teacher likes whatever i choose. however, I'm pretty sure she won't like the Beethoven. I'm swapping teacher in September, so i don't know how far i'll get, and I'm doing Cello gd 6 and Clair De Lune on the piano at the mo and jazz piano, and, and, and.....i'll shut up now. ninja.gif

May be worth having a look at this thread http://forums.abrsm.org/index.php?s=&s...st&p=485191 which was a similar question - you might get some inspiration, and will certainly get some others' opinions smile.gif

thanks.gif Sarah. I saw that earlier after doing a search thinking it would help, but i've just come back on and seen that Piano Dude15 had started this topic so thought i'd reply! I only scanned it then. Maybe i'll go and have another browse...

No worries, Piello - I thought it might be a useful read for either/both of you biggrin.gif & didn't know if either of you'd seen it!

hello everyone, i'm new here :-)

I've heard all the grade 7 pieces and so far I only like two of them, wagglesticks walkabout and Bruch swedish dance in F minor - does anyone know if where I can find the Bruch Swedish dance in F minor piano piece?
