Hi, I suppose I should announce myself!

newHere.gif

I just put a long post in the Adult learners (I think?) section, to which I might be able to post a link if I knew how (and if it's allowed?). Lots of biog and questions there.

Basically: Grade 5 piano 1973, never got out of comfort zone, stopped lessons but never stopped playing. Since then oarsman, consultant surgeon, guitarist/singer/songwriter on local folk circuit, ex rock/blues bass player, just rediscovered my lifelong love of classical piano. Practicing like a demon, intending to take grade 8 within the year and then beyond. Also intend to explore jazz, but not intending to give up the day job just yet!

See you around.

Yes posting links is fine, a good idea in fact! It tells you how to do it in the FAQ thread which is pinned at the top of every forum. Look under "Posting a Link" smile.gif

I've put a welcome in your Adult Learner thread but welcome in this thread as well biggrin.gif
