I wanted to know some classical pieces which sound professional and are popular amongst classical fans.

The list is almost endless and it depends how good you are and on what type of music you like.
When you say classical music you are probably using the term to refer to all 'serious' music, and this encomapses a whole range of differnt styles, and most people find they respond better to a particular style and enjoy playing that above others.
I like music from the romatic / modern period , which is typified by composers like Chopin, Satie and Debussy, and can play pieces in this style which are relatively hard, but I struggle with music from the Baroque / early classical period (Bach, Mozart etc). Many people are exactly the opposite!
Basically it's an impossible question to answer, it's up to you!!!
